„Shakespeare am Rhein – Macbeth“: erste öffentliche Probe als Benefizverstaltung

Am Samstag, den 3. Juni um 11:30, veranstaltet das English Theatre Düsseldorf (ETD) die erste öffentliche Probe von "Shakespeare am Rhein - Macbeth", was ab Juni 2024 aufgeführt werden soll. Neben exklusiven Eindrücken in das Stück besteht außerdem die Möglichkeit, auf die Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler, sowie die Regisseurinnen und Regisseure zu treffen.

Sie können auf zwei Arten dabei sein: Entweder schauen Sie sich das Stück online über Zoom an oder vor Ort im Theatermuseum der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf.

"Shakespeare am Rhein" wird im Laufe des Jahres eine Reihe kleinerer Aufführungen als Benefizveranstaltungen durchführen, um die notwendigen Mittel für die Produktion von Macbeth aufzubringen. Daher werden 100% der Erlöse aus dieser Veranstaltung dazu beitragen, das Stück im Juni 2024 auf die Bühne zu bringen. Aufgrund des Erfolges von "Romeo & Juliet" im letzten Jahr in der Kaiserpfalz-Ruine plant das ETD, "Shakespeare am Rhein" zu einer dauerhaften Sommerveranstaltung im Düsseldorfer Kalender zu machen.

"Shakespeare am Rhein - Macbeth": first public rehearsal as a benefit event

On Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:30 am, the English Theatre Düsseldorf (ETD) will host the first public rehearsal of "Shakespeare on the Rhine - Macbeth". The show will air summer 2024. In addition to exclusive impressions of the play, the audience will also have the opportunity to meet the cast and director.

You can join in one of two ways: either watch it online via Zoom or in person at the Theater Museum Düsseldorf.

"Shakespeare am Rhein" will be holding a series of smaller performances throughout the year to raise the necessary funds for the production of Macbeth. Therefore, 100% of the profits from this event will contribute to bringing the play to the stage in June 2024. Due to the success of last year’s “ROMEO & JULIET” at the Kaiserpfalz Ruins, the ETD plans for "Shakespeare am Rhein" to be a long-standing summer event in the Düsseldorf calendar.
