The office location Düsseldorf

The office location Düsseldorf

The federal state capital Düsseldorf is one of the cities with the highest quality of life in the world and is recognized as an internationally significant business metropolis.

With a total area of about 8.7 million m2 and a high rental and investment volume, the Düsseldorf office market has been one of the top 5 German real estate strongholds for years. Rental price development in Düsseldorf is regarded as stable and the investment climate for new office projects is considered good.

In addition to the city centre, a large number of attractive office locations have become established all around the centre with various location criteria and urban development qualities. Office space in each office location includes a broad range of space in existing buildings, high-quality new construction and – partly – a great deal of potential in building sites which can be used for new projects.

Industrial properties in Düsseldorf

Apart from being a service sector stronghold, Düsseldorf is also a major industrial location. With nearly 50,000 people working in production and processing, Düsseldorf provides the third largest number of industrial jobs in North Rhine-Westphalia. Important industries include the chemical industry, metal production and metalworking, vehicle construction and the paper, publishing and printing trades.

In addition to traditional industrial/commercial areas such as the Industrial Harbor and the Lierenfeld and Reisholz districts, the city has developed new industrial sites boasting excellent infrastructure and construction-ready land in order to meet the rising demand. In recent years, redevelopments have focused on the areas surrounding Theodorstraße in Düsseldorf-Rath (85 hectares) and the Reisholz bypass (15 hectares).

For many years now, Düsseldorf has been renowned for the development of innovative industrial parks. Projects like Hansapark in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel/Heerdt, Wahler Park in Düsseldorf-Rath and Connecta Park in Düsseldorf-Hassels focus on traditional industry requirements while offering a full range of commodities and modern services.
